FIFA World Cup 2026 Awards: Winners and Meanings
An award list is most useful when it explains what each prize measures. These are the official individual honours from the men’s FIFA World Cup 2026.
| Award | Winner | Team |
|---|---|---|
| Golden Ball | Rodri | Spain |
| Golden Boot | Kylian Mbappé (10 goals) | France |
| Golden Glove | Unai Simón | Spain |
| Young Player Award | Pau Cubarsí | Spain |
Understanding the honours
The Golden Ball recognises overall tournament performance. The Golden Boot is a goalscoring award. The Golden Glove focuses on the goalkeeper’s role, while the Young Player Award recognises an eligible young footballer. These honours answer different questions, so they should not be treated as interchangeable rankings.
